The Garden is located towards the middle of Neil McDougall Park, just south of the lake. It is on the far western side of the park, closest to the side facing Canning River. The Garden is easily accessible by car, public transport and by foot if you live nearby and enjoy a morning stroll. Information on these three options are located below. The Garden benefits from excellent amenities including toilets and wide level concrete paths that allow visitors to access many of Neil McDougall Park's key features. We have included information about the toilets below. |
After a morning of volunteering in the Garden there are many beautiful spots within Neil McDougall Park to enjoy morning tea or relax with a good book.

Getting here
Train
McDougall Farm Community Garden is a short ten minute stroll from Canning Bridge train station. Walk down Davilak Street four blocks and turn left onto Clydesdale Street. Past the tall green hedge and you'll see our stable and garden on your right hand side. Bus Two buses stop on Clydesdale Street one minute walk from the Garden. Bus numbers 30 and 148. Bus number 100 stops on Henley Street, towards the north end of the Garden. If you're getting off bus 100 walk towards the body of water and turn right onto Clydesdale Street. You'll see the Garden on your left after you reach the end of the lake. Driving McDougall Farm Community Garden is strategically located not far from two main roads: Kwinana Freeway and Canning Highway. |
Parking
Limited car park spaces are available on the property. The land is not sealed so can become muddy after heavy rain. Alternatively if the gate to the property is not open you can park your car on nearby side streets and walk down to the garden.

Toilets
Neil McDougall Park has public toilets that are open during the hours of our Garden's activities. The toilets are located conveniently at the center of the park and less then a minutes walk from the Garden. It might be handy to keep a spare roll of toilet paper in your back pack or car just in case.
